Options for Success
Our training approach at Major League Dog Services is non-food based, meaning that food is not used as a reward. Instead, we believe in using praise and love to motivate and reward your dog. We recognize the importance of saying "No" when a mistake is made, as it is a common way to communicate that something was done incorrectly. We guide dogs through the correction process, ensuring they understand the instructions and then reward them with praise and love for a job well done.
We offer two comprehensive training plans designed to meet your specific needs:
Training Academy:
  • Duration: 6 weeks, consisting of 1-hour training sessions.
  • Location: Sessions can be conducted at our facility or an agreed-upon location.
  • All issues addressed: We tackle all behavioral issues and condition basic obedience commands.
  • Homework: You will be provided with daily homework exercises to practice with your dog, ensuring the effectiveness of the training.
  • Team effort: The Training Academy is a collaborative effort between you, your dog, and our expert trainers.
  • Tuition: Starts at $1,200.00, with the option to add extra sessions if needed.
Lodge & Learn:
  • Duration: 4 weeks of immersive training.
  • Individualized attention: We only accept one dog at a time for Lodge & Learn, ensuring your furry companion receives our undivided attention.
  • Full learning experience: Your dog becomes part of our pack, benefiting from daily socialization with other dogs.
  • Structured routine: Multiple training sessions throughout the day, structured walks, and regular meal times.
  • Command focus: We teach commands such as Sit, Down, Whoa, Place, Heel, Here, Kennel, and Free. All commands are taught as implied stays; we do not use the word "stay."
  • Inclusive tuition: Lodge & Learn tuition of $4,000.00 covers all meals and supplies.
